New Engines

An all-new engine will be available with the 2019 Nissan Altima, providing improved efficiency and power. The new 2.0L Variable Compression-Turbo engine produces 248 HP, and 273 lb.-ft. of torque. This new engine option will be available with the SR and Platinum trim levels.

The 2.5L I4 engine has also been revised for the 2019 model year to increase horsepower from 177 to 188 HP. Torque has also been increased to 180 lb.-ft. The 2.5L I4 engine is also quieter and more compact than ever before.

Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive

The 2019 Nissan Altima will ne Nissan’s first sedan available with Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive. This new system will give you supreme handling under any driving conditions, especially during inclement Matteson, IL winters. The Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive system constantly monitors road conditions and instantly responds to changes by automatically sending power to the wheels with the most traction.

Trim Options

You can expect to see five different trim levels available with the 2019 Nissan Altima. The newest trim level, the sporty SR, offers paddle shifters and a sport-tuned suspension and steering for an exhilarating drive. Additional trim levels include the S, SV, SL, and Platinum.
